Selected by the 1st Ward Alderman's Office for the 50/50 neighborhood arts project, supported by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), the mural by Miguel A. Del Real called "Embracing Life" is displayed at 1211 W Chicago Ave - west of Ashland Ave.
Curated by Greg Lunceford, DCASE, and Rocio Varela, 1st Ward Alderman's Office - with community engagement and feedback from the West Town Chamber of Commerce and students from area high schools, plus on-site permissions and parking lot support provided by 2FM & COPA.
